About Us

Compsys was founded in 1992 by Robert Williams. Robert had a vision of a full-service IT Company that put its customers first. Compsys originated from a humble beginning, Robert ran the company from the confines of his home. As Compsys grew, he soon ran out of space at home and opened a small office in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Compsys has been growing ever since. We currently employ 30+ team members, in two locations, North Little Rock and Rogers, AR. We are proud of the fact many of our team have been with the company for well over 10 years.

At Compsys we operate under the philosophy that our customers are more than just customers; they are our friends. We work hard to develop and cultivate relationships with our clients and always strive to achieve customer satisfaction. Compsys is the best option for outsourcing your IT because we go the extra mile for our clients while remaining very competitive with our prices.

We treat our customers as we ourselves would want to be treated. We have experienced technicians that work for you with a smile. We have same day response time no matter how big or small your IT needs are. We have clients across a wide spectrum of industries, such as law practices, medical facilities, state and local governments, advertising firms, accounting firms, mortgage companies, banks and so many more. We will work with you and tailor a solution to best fit your needs. Not every company needs the same solution, and we understand that. We will act as your CIO (chief information officer) if you wish. We will be glad to hold consultations to determine best business practices from an IT standpoint.

At Compsys we believe in a team approach to handling our clients. In this way we ensure the client is supported with not just a single engineer but a group that works together as a team to keep the clients IT needs running smoothly so they can focus on their business, not IT.

The team consists of Level 1 – 2 Help Desk support that handle the bulk of the incoming support request. Most support needs range from printing issues to more involved network troubleshooting is handled remotely with the tools that are available today. If the issue is not resolved by the Help Desk, it is escalated to our System Administrators (SA) level. This group tackles the more intricate networking issues that range from network packet drops, more complicated switches, and firewall issues to issues with Windows Group Policy along with security issues and policies. In addition, they handle server design recommendations, network architecture and Back-up Design for failover and redundancy.

We currently have two offices in Arkansas. The home office is located in North Little Rock on Maumelle Boulevard with two buildings. One for the Tech Team and one for Accounting and Account Management. The NWA office is in Rogers and currently has a staff of three, with more being interviewed. Our total number of staff is 30+.

In 2024 Compsys achieved the SOC2 certification. The SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) certification provides clients with assurance that a service organization is managing their data securely and in compliance with high standards.

Compsys has grown not because of advertising or a cold calling sales team but through word of mouth and referrals from our current clients. We are very proud of our long-term relationships with our clients/friends. We truly believe in long-term relationships, both with our employees and our clients.
