(Arkansas IT. Built on relationships since 1992.)
Compsys is an Arkansas-based IT services company helping businesses manage, secure, and plan their technology. Since 1992, we have grown from a home office in North Little Rock into a team of more than 30 professionals serving clients from Central and Northwest Arkansas.
It Started With a Simple Idea
Compsys was founded in 1992 by Robert Williams with a straightforward vision: build a full-service IT company that puts its customers first.
The company began in Robert's home. As the business grew, Compsys moved into its first office in North Little Rock and continued expanding its team, capabilities, and the organizations it could support.
More than three decades later, the technology has changed considerably. The philosophy behind the company has not.
Many members of our team have been with Compsys for more than a decade, bringing continuity and experience to the clients they support.
IT Is a Relationship Business
We have always believed our clients should be more than account numbers and support tickets. The better we understand an organization, its people, its goals, and the way it operates, the better technology decisions we can help it make.
That is why our approach is not one-size-fits-all. We work with organizations across a wide range of industries and tailor technology around what each business actually needs, whether that means day-to-day support, cybersecurity, cloud services, infrastructure, backup and recovery, or long-term technology planning.
Sometimes that means fixing the problem in front of us. Sometimes it means helping a client recognize the problem that is coming next. Both matter.
A Team Behind Every Client
Good IT support should not depend on one person knowing everything about your environment. At Compsys, clients are supported by a team.
Our Support Technicians handle the majority of day-to-day requests and remote troubleshooting. More complex issues are escalated to our Systems Administrators and specialized technical teams with experience in areas such as networking, servers, Microsoft 365, security, backup, and infrastructure.
That team approach gives clients access to the right level of expertise when they need it while also creating continuity through collaboration and documentation.
We Plan for More Than the Next Ticket
Technology should support the direction of a business, not simply keep the lights blinking.
We work with clients to evaluate their technology, identify risks, plan investments, and make informed decisions about what comes next. For organizations without internal IT leadership, that can also mean serving as a trusted technology advisor and helping leadership evaluate IT decisions from a business perspective.
Give our clients a technology team they know, trust, and can rely on for the long term.
Security and Accountability Matter
The responsibility of an IT provider extends beyond keeping systems operational. Clients trust us with access to systems and information that are critical to their organizations, and that trust deserves accountable processes behind it.
In 2024, Compsys achieved SOC 2 compliance, providing independent assurance around the controls and processes we use to protect the systems and information entrusted to us.
Grown Through Relationships
Compsys has grown largely through word of mouth and referrals from the clients we already serve rather than through cold calling.
We are particularly proud of that because it reflects the kind of company we have always wanted to build. Many of our employees have spent a significant portion of their careers here, and many of our client relationships have lasted for years.
Technology changes quickly. Good relationships do not have to.
Two Offices. One Team.
Today, Compsys operates from two locations in Arkansas: our home office in North Little Rock and our Northwest Arkansas office in Rogers. Together, our team supports organizations throughout Arkansas and beyond.
